Rambling Session - Special/Pre Orders (07/24/2024)

If you follow along with the newsletters and check in on the site somewhat frequently you would have seen that I recently got in a couple of the hottest yearly releases: the Crowned Heads Cigars Las Calaveras and the Black Label Trading Company Bishops Blend. I can say that both releases this year have smoked quite good right off the truck - which is impressive considering they both tend to, in my opinion, shine after a little age. At any rate, I have been quite busy since these have dropped as they have been getting snatched up rather quickly - though there are some in stock of both at the time of writing this.

The thing I wanted to touch on today was special orders/pre-orders. Part of what has kept me busy is pre-orders. If you notice, I only have the LC52 left in stock of the Las Calaveras. In fact, I placed a fairly sizable order of this year's Las Calaveras, however, the majority of them got nabbed up in pre-orders/special requests.

I have mentioned before, and I am sure you can tell from looking around the site, I run a very small operation. There are many many brands that I have access to and wish I could keep in inventory, however, it isn’t feasible. So I slowly add them as I can. This goes for new/old/limited releases from brands I do, or did, carry. It also keeps me from going deep on different releases of things I do decide to carry. In the case of Las Calaveras, I only ordered a few boxes to put on the site, but I had requests for several boxes and samplers from customers.

The moral of the story is: if you want something, whether I carry it or now, new or old, just reach out to me. Like I said, I have access to a plethora of brands, and I am never shy about reaching out to try to obtain access to something that I don’t currently have a route to. I have several customers that routinely reach out when they are ready to restock on one of their favorites or load up on something new. I am always happy to help out and I always treat you fairly on pricing!

Shoot me an email or use the chat feature next time you are looking for something!

Take care,

-Trevor
