Rambling Session - Reviews & Giveaway (10/15/2024)

Good morning!

First off, another huge thank you to everyone that commented on last week’s post with brand recommendations. Looks like I have a lot of companies to reach out to..

I enjoyed seeing the feedback come in and I know that that was driven by the giveaway. So, I decided to do it again this week.

The Cigar Farm actually started, under a different name, for cigar reviews. I took a good break from writing reviews after it became a bit too much like a chore, and less for enjoyment, when I started putting more time and energy into the retail side. It was a much needed break that restored my love for the process. It is nice to light something with the sole purpose of focusing on, and enjoying, it.

I thought a fun little giveaway this week would be for you to browse the cigars on The Cigar Farm and let me know one or two that you would like to see reviewed! I will pick a random winner Monday morning to receive a $10 Gift Card, and all the feedback will help me prioritize my “to-be-reviewed” list! Want an extra entry? Find a review, on the site, of a cigar that you’ve smoked yourself and comment your feedback on that review!

Take care,

-Trevor

I have never smoked German engineering or blackstar line. I would like to see those reviewed Julia. Sued too.

I would like to see reviews of some of the Aganorsa blends you carry. As you know, I’m a big fan of theirs .
Also, any of the Dunbarton blends you haven’t reviewed would be great

I am also looking forward to a Black Gold review, have not yet smoked those that I picked up late last year in your sampler.

You didn’t really fully review the White Gold, but you posted in a rambling session, “I started with the White Gold – a beautifully creamy cigar with the right amount of pepper and classic Connecticut hay.”

I didn’t recall the pepper but it is a beautiful CT shade expression with the hay and nuts notes, amazing draw and burn, and really something great to relax in the morning with a nice cup of coffee. I smoked a Somm Blanc Toro, and an Atabey Misticos around the same time and all three fit this billing perfectly but the White Gold was my favorite, probably due to the vitola ring gauge.

I enjoy the Deseret so I’m curious what you think about

Apostate Cigars Moroni’s Trumpet
And Principles Black Gold
I’ve had this before and I’m interested in your take on it.

Thanks man

Christian
