This morning I was shooting my product photos for this new stuff and I was wondering: How much do product photos matter for online cigar shops?
So, as you have noticed, all of my product photos are more in a “photography” style as opposed to a general, company provided image. The primary reason for this is two-fold. One, before I sold cigars, I wanted decent pictures to post on instagram and my reviews. I have never been much of a photographer (and am still not), but I do enjoy fooling with it. The second reason is, I think it provides a bit more of a unique feel to my site. You hop on and you see that someone took the time to actually get photos of the products. To me, it makes it feel more personal than just a stock image.
Now, that being said, I have no idea if it makes a difference or not. Maybe you can tell me that.
Either way, I will keep doing what I am doing. I can’t switch it up now…
