This has been a busy week. I have been slacking on getting blog posts up.
Today I was actually going to do a Pulling Back the Curtain post, but I just don’t have the time. So instead I figured I would take today to mention some new arrivals.
This morning I smoked the Foundation Cigar Co. Olmec Maduro. I have wanted to get the Olmec in for some time, however, I just haven’t had an opportunity. This week was my chance and I took it. I currently have a small inventory of Olmec Maduro and Claro in Robusto, Corona Gorda, and Toro.
Yesterday morning I smoked the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Umbagog Bronzeback - it was phenomenal. The Umbagog line was a staple for me a few years back. Since I don’t carry DT&T regularly - at this time at least - I haven’t smoked one in awhile. When I saw this Bronzeback release, I had to get my hands on it. The vitola is enough to get my attention, but once I smoked it, I figure I’ll keep it around.
Over the weekend I got in some more Principle Cigars Time To Burn Maduros. This was one that sold out fast, and I knew I needed to restock. It surprised me, given I am not always a fan of the blends coming out of Casa Carrilo, but this had fantastic flavor and perfect construction. I also brought in the Cocktail Collection Beignet, which is a tasty little smoke from KBF Cigar Factory. I think, at this time, I am the only shop to have them (at least that I saw when I checked).
Finally, I got my order of Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown 5th Anniversaries yesterday! This 6 x 46, limited release Crook is gonna be awesome, I just know it. I already sold through the majority of my stock on preorders, but I will have some popping up on the side soon
Take care,
-Trevor
