It was a frigid Monday morning here today - I had to kick on a small electric heater while I tried to get some work done in the garage.
I lit up a Sinistro Mr. White Gold this morning as my accompaniment to the soldering that needed done on this guitar build. It was certainly a bold choice, as the cigar was full, earthy, and leathery. It burned well and was quite enjoyable. Shoutout to Ike for sending me this one!
So this evening I had to run to UPS and for some reason, the Red Lobster nearby sounded like a solid choice for dinner. So the wife, daughter, and I hopped in the truck and off we went. Of course the biscuits were the main attraction, but the food was pretty good overall.
The wife and I talked about how Red Lobster seemed so fancy when we were kids and as an adult, we realize it’s not nearly as sophisticated as we had thought.
What restaurants did you think were fancy, but as an adult, don’t live up to it?
